THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN...by Pam Llamas
There is a God in Heaven, Jehovah Rapha is His name. He came, and touched and healed me, And I''ll never be the same. Four times cancer tried to take me, A stroke nearly took my mind, But the Lord came and touched me. He is so loving and so kind. There is a God in Heaven. Jehovah Rapha is His name He came and touched and healed me, And I''ll never be the same. There is a God in Heaven. Jehovah Jireh is His name. And He supplies all my needs. Bless His holy name. He knows all that I have need of, And He so freely gives Of His life, His joy, and His love, And I know that He forever lives.
Take the Time
Take the time to smell the roses. Take the time to feel the wind. Listen to a heart beat, and taste a delightful blend. Life is a gift, given to each one. What we do with it Determines if we've won. Have we been kind and felt another's pain? have we helped someone out of the rain? Love never fails, and is always true. Life gives us trials, but God will see us through. So, please take the time. Roses bloom just for a season. God gives us a sign, And they bloom just for that reason.

Don't Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will; When the road you're trudging seems all uphill; When the funds are low, and the debts are high; And you want to smile, but you have to sigh; When care is pressing you down a bit Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out; The silver tint of the clouds of doubt; And you can never tell how close you are; It may be near when it seems afar. So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.
The Will To Win (one the most classic motivational poems) If you want a thing bad enough To go out and fight for it, Work day and night for it, Give up your time and your peace and your sleep for it If only desire of it Makes you quite mad enough Never to tire of it, Makes you hold all other things tawdry and cheap for it If life seems all empty and useless without it And all that you scheme and you dream is about it,
If gladly you'll sweat for it, Fret for it, Plan for it, Lose all your terror of God or man for it,
If you'll simply go after that thing that you want. With all your capacity, Strength and sagacity, Faith, hope and confidence, stern pertinacity,
If neither cold poverty, famished and gaunt, Nor sickness nor pain Of body or brain Can turn you away from the thing that you want,
If dogged and grim you besiege and beset it, You'll get it!

Things Work Out
Because it rains when we wish it wouldn't, Because men do what they often shouldn't, Because crops fail, and plans go wrong- Some of us grumble all day long. But somehow, in spite of the care and doubt, It seems at last that things work out. Because we lose where we hoped to gain, Because we suffer a little pain, Because we must work when we'd like to play- Some of us whimper along life's way. But somehow, as day always follows the night, Most of our troubles work out all right.
Because we cannot forever smile, Because we must trudge in the dust awhile, Because we think that the way is long- Some of us whimper that life's all wrong. But somehow we live and our sky grows bright, And everything seems to work out all right.
So bend to your trouble and meet your care, For the clouds must break, and the sky grow fair. Let the rain come down, as it must and will, But keep on working and hoping still. For in spite of the grumblers who stand about, Somehow, it seems, all things work out.
